The objective of the Foundation is to afford funds for research, surgical treatment and hospialization to those suffering from diseases of, or injury to, the eye, which if left untreated might lead to blindness; and for correction of strabismus (cross eyes) in children. Treatment of such persons is without regard to race, color, creed, age, sex, or national origin. The treatment is free, but limited to those who are unable to pay.

The policy of the Knights Templar Eye Foundation, Inc., is to keep administrative expenses at a minimum in order that financial assistance may be given to as many people as possible.

They give of their time, their knowledge, and their experience without compensation. Doctors and hospitals involved in the patients' treatment make every effort to contain their costs such that our applicants are relieved of any undue financial hardship.
